Grand Teton National Park Float Trips on the Snake River from Buffalo Valley Ranch Offer a 10 Mile Scenic View of Tetons

Experience the splendor of the Tetons and Grand Teton National Park on our 10 mile scenic float trip. Enjoy abundant wildlife in its natural habitat along the Snake River.

We put in at Pacific Creek launch just downstream from Oxbow Bend. It normally takes about 3 hours for the 10 mile float to Deadman’s Bar, dependent on water levels and wind direction.

Though the river can be swift, this is not a white water trip, perfect for beginners & families. The scenery ranges from serene to spectacular with constant views of the Tetons. One advantage of this section of the river is the unobstructed views of the Tetons.

Your guide is skillful with the raft and can answer all your questions. Being very knowledgeable of the area, they’ll point out wildlife, often before you see it, including bison, moose, elk, bald eagles, geese, antelope, and cliff swallows. Guided float trips depart twice daily. Bring your camera and sunglasses.

Children (17 years to 4 years) – $44

Children must be at least 4 years and 40 lbs. to participate.
